Together Saving Paws is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a simple but powerful mission: to protect the animals who serve alongside us every day.
Most law enforcement officers start their shift by strapping on a ballistic vest — but not all police K9s have that same protection. Not because departments don't want to keep their dogs safe, but because of limited funding. We're changing that, one vest at a time.
We've partnered with a ballistics company to provide customized bulletproof vests for police K9s at $1,250 each. Our goal is to see every police K9 across this country protected.
Our Partnership with O.U.R.
We've teamed up with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) to provide their sponsored ESD K9s with ballistic vests. These dogs are trained to sniff out electronic storage devices used in child exploitation — making them critical weapons in the fight against human trafficking.
We also identify and place rescue dogs to be trained as emotional support animals for survivors and frontline workers in O.U.R.'s aftercare program.
